Students are given 16 statements to categorize as either Legislative, Judicial, or Executive. A correct answer results in that statement, on a background of leaves, being moved to its appropriate “Branch” on the (federal government) tree. Those with incorrect answers receive encouragement to “try again.” The end result of this introductory or review game is a completed graphic organizer that students may draw/ write in their notes.
