Looping Through the Constitution
From Law Focused Education, Inc
Students will review key facts about the ideas and key people involved in the writing of the U.S. Constitution by engaging in an activity.
Materials: A set of cards, to be cut apart. (The cards are in the correct order on the handout.)
The teacher reads a question about a Constitutional principle and the student that has the answer to the question at the top of his/her card then stands and reads the answer. The student then proceeds to read the question that follows at the bottom of his/her card, and so on (for 29 questions) until a “loop” is made back to the first card.
The mission of the Law Focused Education, Inc. is to plan, promote, and support Law-Related Education programs which are aimed at preparing elementary, middle, and high school students for effective, responsible citizenship.
