Objective: Analyze photographs to understand the roles and responsibilities of the President of the United States

Objective: Learn about how First Ladies use their role to advocate for important issues

Objective: Interpret texts to understand the concept of human rights

Objective: Consider how a member of a community can change an unfair rule or law through the story of Eliza Jennings Graham.

Lesson - American Ideals

Objective: Analyze primary sources to understand how Americans symbolize their ideals. (Statue of Liberty)

Lesson - The Constitution

Objective: Analyze why the U.S. Constitution is important and interpret the Preamble and Articles

Lesson - Civics for All: Kid Lawyer

Objective: Write an advice column after analyzing a Supreme Court case about free speech. (Tinker v. Des Moines)

Lesson – Civics for All: Political Participation

Objective: Analyze images of people participating in the political process to learn more about how members of a community participate.
