Getting Involved: Making a Difference – What Level of Government do you work with?

Democracy Kids

This site gives you a brief introduction to the three levels of government and what issues they deal with. It will also give you examples of actual public policy issues that students have worked on to make a postive difference in their community. This exercise will help get students thinking about what things in their community need to be changed and how they can work to change them.
