Authors: Rich Rosiviach, Jude Hogeboam, and members of the Minnesota State Bar Association Civic Education Committee

This introduction to the judiciary in Minnesota includes a handout of background information for students to study and a handout of questions to stimulate discussion and increase their understanding of the materials.

Objectives

Students will be able to identify the major functions of the judicial branch and explain how its members are selected.
