Looping Through the Constitution

Students will review key facts about the ideas and key people involved in the writing of the U.S. Constitution by engaging in an activity.

Materials: A set of cards, to be cut apart. (The cards are in the correct order on the handout.)

The teacher reads a question about a Constitutional principle and the student that has the answer to the question at the top of his/her card then stands and reads the answer. The student then proceeds to read the question that follows at the bottom of his/her card, and so on (for 29 questions) until a “loop” is made back to the first card.
