Pulse of the Populace

The Georgetown ‘Pulse of the Populace’ (GU PoP [1]) is an interactive website which allows the public and students to familiarize themselves with the top ten policy issues in the country, getting the perspectives from both liberal and conservative policy makers. Students gain appreciation for the democratic process by voting on the issues and posting their positions on the issues. See lesson plan for how the GU PoP can be incorporated into the classroom at http://jmlpresearch.org/gupoplessonplans [2]
