The Question Formulation Technique (QFT) is “an evidence-based strategy that allows all people to produce their own questions, improve their questions, and strategize on how to use them.”

In this demonstration video (9:45), Mr. Beer’s 8th grade students (New Hampshire) use the QFT as they come to the end of a unit of study. The question focus: “Questions that should be asked about American imperialism at the turn of the 20th century.”
