Shoplifting

Students work in small groups to define shoplifting, thinking about the definition from different perspectives.  After learning facts about shoplifting, they begin a small group activity to think about the consequences of shoplifting.  Groups list consequences for youth who shoplift, store owners, youth in general, and the community as a whole.

  • Define shoplifting
  • List some consequences of shoplifting to young people, storeowners and the community
