Students:

  • identify responsibilities of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of theĀ United States government as defined in Articles I, II, and III of the U.S. Constitution.
  • integrate information from several texts on the same topic in order to write or speak about the subject knowledgeably.

Students Investigating Primary Sources (SIPS) is a K-12 collection of brief introductory mini-lessons centered on particular topics and primary sources.
