Students:

  • analyze information about what they read or observe in primary and secondary sources.
  • understand the relationship between the government and a written constitution.
  • describe the relationship between a series of historical events, scientific ideas or concepts, or steps in technical procedures in a text, using language that pertains to time, sequence, and cause/effect.

Students Investigating Primary Sources (SIPS) is a K-12 collection of brief introductory mini-lessons centered on particular topics and primary sources.
